I Want #INAD SEDUCTIVE. CAPTIVATING. INTOXICATING. Her every wish is his command with this selection of striking dark rich hues and creamy neutral shades guaranteed to keep him Under Her Spell 21 Days later. FALL IN LUST AGAIN AND AGAIN. 724551 WANT TO CUDDLE? 724554 LOVE ME LIKE A VAMP 724552 I'M NO STRANGER TO LOVE 724555 LUST AT FIRST SIGHT One New York nail tech's h's vision for "International al Nail Art Day" (#INAD, à la social media) caused d nail fanatics from all l over the globe to flock k to social media on Wilson Saturday, Aug. 3, to share amazing nail looks and participate in a dialogue about the miniature form of self-expression. Mimi Wilson of Nails by Mimi (www.nailsbymimi.tumblr.com) mblr.com) estimates that up to 2,000 people participated in the first-ever celebration, and she shares with NAILS her inspiration behind INAD. How did you come up with the idea? All the things I love, like chocolate and french fries, already had a day. And I figured nail art needed a day too. Nail art is such a huge part of so many people's lives and I knew there needed to be a day of acknowledging and celebrating that. How did you market INAD? In the beginning, I e-mailed nail artists and nail salons that had a strong social media presence and asked for their help in spreading the word about the INAD Instagram (IG) and Twitter accounts. Leading up to the actual day, IG was my go-to method for sharing any information. The Twitter account was linked to the IG, so it was really easy to reach people quickly.  What person or brand were you the most surprised participated? It was really cool and surprising to see CND make an Instagram about INAD. Are you planning for INAD 2014? Absolutely! Aug. 2 is the date for the next INAD. This time I'm hoping to have a large event, have some giveaways, and to ultimately reach more people worldwide.  724553 A TOUCH OF SASS 724556 MY NIGHTLY CRAVING SallyBeauty.com 800-ASK-SALLY Scan • Watch • Learn gelishminis.com Performs like Gel, Applies like Polish™ Gel-Polish • Polish On/Soak-Off Made in the USA © 2013 Hand & Nail Harmony • Brea, CA 92821 Gelish and Hand & Nail Harmony are registered trademarks of Hand & Nail Harmony, Inc. HM-2543 www.nailsmag.com/fifi/21285 Tie-Dye, Plus Alterations Adrienne Bishop wanted a little more dye in the tie-dye nail design style she learned from her friend Becky Wroblewski. When doing tie-dye art, most techs drag their striping brush or toothbrush outward through the various colors. Bishop, a national educator with LaPalm Products, added an additional step: dragging the brush inward, pulling the colors in the other direction. "I really liked what I saw," Bishop says.
