At the Minnesota School of Cosmetology the syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, handouts, and exams are all housed on our internal student portal to cut down on the use of paper. Every MSC student receives an iPad as part of their cosmetology kit, and all coursework and exams are done electronically. In addition, our students use the iPad on the salon fl oor to create different nail looks, eliminating the need for a textbook. The transition to a digital learning model has really contributed to our efforts to be more environmentally friendly.
