Gone are the days when clients were content with a solid color coating. Today's clients love to try new things. And the great news for you is that means extra income and the opportunity to be more creative. But don't worry if you aren't a natural-born artist; a few easy designs can be created with the help of these tutorials. There are so many places online to help you learn more nail art techniques. Start with www.nailsmag.com/nailart. But also check out nailartgallery.nailsmag.com and www.nailsmag.com/nagtablet. 1. Polish the nail yellow. 2. Use a black striper to create outlines of three petals. Use the same striper to fill in the petals and add curved lines in between. 3. Fill in the petals with white paint. Use a pink striper to accent. 4. Use a dotting tool and black paint to accent the lines between the petals. 5. Apply a rhinestone to the flower center. Design each corner with dots in yellow, tribal lines in green, diagonal lines in white, and curly C-shapes in red. Finish with top coat. Draw a diamond at the center of the nail with blue polish and draw lines stemming out from the base of the diamond. 3. Draw pink lines stemming out toward the tip. 4. Outline the diamond and the pink lines with black polish. 5. Use golden glitter inside the diamond to finish the look and seal it with top coat. Using pink and purple acrylic paint, draw lines from the center of the flower going outward. 4. Using white acrylic paint, draw swirls, dots, and commas. 5. Add hologram glitter and a rhinestone.
