Capture Customers it With Your Website You already know that your website is one of your most important marketing tools. So how can you make more of what you already have? Locu (www.locu.com) provides tools to manage, edit, design, and publish your service menu — wherever it shows up — from one place. Rene Reinsberg, CEO of Locu, offers these three tips to make the most of your website. 1. Show your services and prices. Consumers are more selective and costconscious than ever before. Potential customers are on the Internet comparing service lists and prices, looking at Yelp reviews, and visiting salon websites before they decide where to go. With Locu, you can easily create, manage and share price lists on the Internet, getting in front of millions of customers visiting your own website, mobile site, Facebook page, and sites like CitySearch and Yelp. Michelle Phoenix, owner of the Wet Paint Nail Spa in Cambridge, Mass., uses Locu to showcase her price lists on her website and recommends it. "Almost all our clients look for our services online, and with Locu, it's very easy to make changes to my price list," says Phoenix. 2. Offer specials. Customers are attracted to deals and limited-time offerings. Whether it's a special summer pedicure or a Mother's Day pamper package, excitement will bring more customers through your door. For Phoenix, it's easy to go into Locu and make updates to her own price lists at any time and have those reflect on her web page and across other sites instantly. She doesn't need to call her web developer or pay a designer; she can add a new special herself in just a few clicks. 3. Show up accurately across the Web. Sites like CitySearch and Yelp already have millions of customers. Locu can help you get your price lists in front of those customers and make sure your services and price list information show up accurately on those places. No one wants to go to your salon looking for a $25 manicure and realize that it actually costs $35. Make sure your information is up to date. ' ' Workplaces are filled with employees who lack direction because disorganized leaders don't deliver and manage plans and strategies to guide their teams. What's the chance of an unguided team maximizing its productivity? What's the chance of employees being inspired by a leader who leads like a doormat or by random thoughts?
